RECORDED OPTION - Painting With Softness and Atmosphere Online Workshop | Available 2/23
This listing is for the recording only, accessible after the workshop is over (2/23). You will receive an email that day when the recording is accessible.
Join artist Tina Figarelli as she guides you through the beauty of painting a soft, atmospheric portrait painting. Over three days you’ll refine observational drawing, edge control, and value & tonal modeling while working from a photograph. We will begin the painting process with a color study, learning how to mix our colors and prepare for the larger painting. We will then discuss and demo going over the initial first layer, and the subsequent layering the following day. Live attendees will be able to ask questions in the live chat.
Suitable for beginner/intermediate/advanced painters.
DAY ONE: Demoing the process of creating a color study from start to finish.
DAY TWO: Painting the first layer, including mixing paints and paint application.
DAY THREE: Second layer on the painting, and student critiques.
