Commissions

For all commissions, 50% of the total price is required up front. The remainder of the cost & shipping is due prior to the painting being shipped.

Once your email is sent, I will review it, and follow up with my selection of photo. Payment is then accepted via my website’s checkout option, accepting all major debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, and PayPal.

After we email and settle on the photo reference/color scheme/pose, I will let you know my current estimate time frame for completion. Typically 1-4 months.

Once the painting is complete, I will send you a photos of the painting and further instructions for shipping/varnish timeline. Final payment & shipping is due then.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

International shipping is available! The cost is $22.50. Please familiarize yourself with your countries rules for customs fees and import process. Packages are often held at customs for payment, and if they are not picked up and paid for then, they will be sent back to me. I am not responsible for any delays/fees for shipping due to customs. Please use your tracking number provided to follow the delivery process.

Yes, but only if they are already all in the same photo together (ie. cats cuddling together, grooming, etc). I will not be able to edit two photos together.

The sizing will also need to be at least an 8×8”, 8×10”, or 10×10” with an additional charge of $200 to account for extra time needed to paint an additional animal.

First off — yay!

Second off — one form submission can be used for multiple pet paintings. Just let me know how many pets you have, what sizes you want them (you can select more than one option) and upload photos of them. They will be painted at the same time, and shipped together.

I would encourage you to compile the photos in a Dropbox or Google Drive folder and send the shareable link in the form submission — the more photos the better!

In order to ensure my work is up to the highest standard of quality, I am very selective of which commissions I take on. I only take 1-2 portrait/figure commissions a year, so I always want to make sure they are the best they can be, and sit comfortably with the rest of my body of work.

One of the most common requests are portraits of a client and their pet. I am currently only accepting ONE custom painting every few months. If you have a good, high quality photo(s) of you and your pet, please submit the form. It should be well lit, not blurry, and within the realm of style of my previous pet/figure paintings. Please let me know your budget and sizing request. Most paintings will need to be at least 11×14” for me to paint them comfortably. Anything smaller or much larger will need to be discussed, I will then reach out to let you know if I think it’s a good fit, and go from there!

If you have any other commission requests, such as a revisit of a previous sold painting you loved, a new idea you’d like to be brought to life, or any other idea — please submit this form, let me know budget/size/idea, and any supplemental images you may have.

I usually only accept 1-2 portrait commissions a year, and is highly dependent on the reference material available to paint from. If you have beautiful, high-quality photos of you and your pet already, or are able to take some for this painting, chances are I will be able to work from them and create a painting — pending availability.

Feel free to fill out the form and include any images you may have to work from, but please know that I am very selective and will only take on projects I know will be up to the standard of quality of all my other works.

All paintings are done on 1/8” panels, which allow for very easy framing. It’s not recommended to have your paintings behind glass, as the varnish on the painting/the glass will cause a glare, and the varnish will protect the painting from dust.

It is not recommended to hang your painting with command strips. A nail or proper picture hanging supplies are recommended!

All paintings will come with an oil painting care guide as well.

Cats are definitely the most common, but I have also painted dogs, birds, ferrets, and bunnies! If you have a exotic/uncommon pet, feel free to submit an inquiry with some photos and I will see what I can do!
